Here is a beautiful piece of self-adhesive real copper foil. You can punch this, patina it and wrap it around bookboard. Just don't try to etch it - it's too thin!

Here is the Harlequin Stitched Spine Journal where I have wrapped the covers in the self-adhesive copper foil, stamped the copper with the Dotted Harlequin background stamp, clear embossed it, then treated the copper with a patina solution.

This scan is enlarged to help show the incredible detail that is visible in this small piece of copper. Overall approximate size of each copper plate is 1 3/4" x 3". Each one is an individual as each leaf is different.

Copper Tape, per yard
The 3/8" tape is a perfect width to wrap around 2 microscope slides. There is enough to do 4 sets of slides using one yard of tape.
