My Design Team loves these tools,
so I *had* to bring them in!
I've always been frustrated
that there wasn't an easy way to cut ovals.... now the problem
is solved with the Spellbinders Nestabilities. I couldn't have
described this better than Becca who wrote:
"Try
as I may, I absolutely can’t cut anything out by hand – it looks
so horrible – so die cuts are a must for me and I love the finished
professional look they give a project."
Over the next few weeks I hope
to get more of these in stock, plus some additional information
about them. If you have a question, please
send me an email. I'll assemble all your questions and
try to answer them as best I can
(with a lot of help from the Design Team, I'm sure!!)

1883. Reprint 1978. 60pp. 8.5"x11". Paper. Eight
pages of good instruction on writing and letterforms (Spencerian
& copperplate) are followed by examples and alphabets. Flourishing
(birds, feathers, etc.) is next followed by pages of 19th century
ornamental lettering of all sorts.
Lots of great inspiration if you are interested
in pointed pen lettering.
The A-2 Envelope-it is an aluminum template that
lets you cut out your own A-2 envelopes from any sheet of paper.
The A-2 envelope is made to hold an A-2 card that
measures 5 1/2” x 8 1/2” flat and 4 1/4” x 5 1/2” folded.
The cutout circle allows you to position the
template, on any designed paper, showing you what aspect of the
design will be centered on the front of your envelope. Because
it’s made from aluminum, you you cut around the template with
a craft knife or you can trace around it and then cut out the
envelope with a pair of scissors.
The Sliding
Rulerslips onto the 12” large Scor-it Board and allows
you to create perfect dry embossed diamonds, rectangles, grids
and starbursts. It creates consistent starting and stopping points
for any design. Inch and metric measurements are precisely scribed
onto one ruler so it fits both large inch and metric Scor-it Boards.
(NOTE: ONLY FITS 12" PLASTIC BOARDS, NOT 12" WOOD BOARDS)
Both
Walnut Ink Crystals and Kakishibu are wonderful for backgrounds!
Kakishibu is made from the fermented juice
of unripe astringent persimmons. It is used on wood, washi and
textiles. The basic kakishibu colour is a brownish burnt pumpkin
colour, but the final results may vary depending on temperature,
humidity, age of the kakishibu and other factors. Mix the 5g packet
with 100ml (about 3 oz.) of water and stir until powder is dissolved
or allow to sit overnight. Diluted solutions can be made from
this standard concentration.

Glazing Liquids are great for creating glazes or faux finishes
on interior walls and furniture, or for glazing in fine art painting.
Liquids dry slowly, allowing the artist extended periods of working
time.
Want to get a lot of water down on your paper quickly?
Our Hake brushes are wide flat watercolour brushes, made with
the finest goat hairs, hand sown into long wood handles.
Thinner than Golden Heavy Body Acrylic colors, these gels are
moderately pourable, hold only slight peaks, may be brushed on

require transparency.
