Instructions

Spread a thin coating of PVA glue over 6" square Zutter chipboard covers. Cover with decorative paper and cut to 7" square. Bring paper around to back of covers, wrap around, glue down. Affix coordinating cardstock inside covers as shown. Cut a length of coordinating coloured ribbon, tuck ends between both layers of inside of journal cover.

Create holes with Zutter Bind it All. Bind journal covers with Zutter double O-wire binding coils and fill with Zutter journal pages

Create grunge paper roses.

Tear 8" by ½" strips of Tim Holtz Grunge Paper, twist and coil to create shape shown. Glue rose shapes to chipboard to stabilize. Let dry. Apply colour with Ecoline watercolour inks mixed with Winsor and Newton Iridescent Medium and either Pearl-Ex or Perfect Pearls.

Stamp sentiment with Versafine brown ink. Thermal emboss with Tsukineko Clear embossing powder.

Cut with Spellbinders Nestabilities Labels 6 die, layered with a larger panel of coordinating cardstock

Adhere rose and sentiment panel to journal cover as shown.
