The Double Stroke Capital Letters stamps are perfect for monograms. Here, the letter "D" was stamped on Metallic cardstock (Diecuts with a View) and embossed in brown. The thickness of the letter gives such a richness when thermally embossed.

 

The square was then cut and embossed with a nestibility die (Spellbinders Paper Arts) and a larger square was also cut and embossed, using decorative or stamped cardstock.

Satin ribbon was secured between the square and the ribbon was wrapped around the 5 by 7 inch card (Stardream metallics, bronze).

For an added detail, a scoring line was added a quarter inch on all four sides of the card.

This monogram would be great carried over to the thank you cards, programs, a gift box or bag, napkin rings, placecards, the whole wedding ensemble. The design would also make a great set of A2 size notecards for someone as a gift.

These capital letters just say "elegance"!
