Quietfire Design Rubber Stamps

Instructions

I love the beauty and elegance of Suzanne's calligraphy for weddings! We could use so many different stamps to create beautifully coordinated wedding table sets.

I decided to try votive candles and place cards for this project.

The place cards are oh-so-simple, great for busy brides to do! I used pre-cut double-fold place cards from Martha Stewart's Embossed Eyelet line, and stamped the sentiment on the side. I don't have Suzanne's knack for hand calligraphy (which is why I LOVE all her stamps!), so you'll have to use your imagination to enter the name of the wedding guest.

The table setting candles are just as simple!

  • Measure the circumference of the votives you'll use.
  • Using Martha Stewart Embossed Eyelet Border Roll, cut pieces 1/2" longer than the circumference.
  • Using a stamp positioner for perfect placement, stamp Quietfire Design sentiments with Ancient Page Archival Dye Ink (Coal Black).
  • Attach around votives with a small piece of double sided tape where the seams meet at the back.
  • Embellish with your favourite bling. I used Prima rhinestones swirls, and cut the pieces to fit the votive wraps.
