I love the look of Spellbinders Impressibilities for a quick, elegant background but was looking for a way to really get a punch of color where I could really see the distinct pattern. I found that with the use of brayer you can get as light or as dark of a color as you want and it yields the opposite pattern of that of Letterpress (inking template then running through Wizard to emboss)

Instructions

Cut a 5"x7" card base and punch each edge with Fiskars Apron Lace Border Punch.

Run Impressibility and main color of card stock through die cut machine to emboss, leaving Impressibility in place. Ink up brayer with Pumpkin Pie dye based ink and roll over Impressibility repeatedly to get desired intensity of color. Hint: If your color is not making enough contact with all areas of your panel, you can remove the Impressibility and continue to brayer the panel, taking care not to press too hard.

Trim Main panel to 4½"x5¾" and darker contrast layer to 4-5/8"x 5-7/8".

Run contrasting dark color through Wizard Die Cut Machine with Spellbinders Lattice Pendant.

On lighter card stock color stamp Quietfire "Love Where You're at" using Colorbox Rousillon Pigment Ink and emboss with clear embossing powder.

Cut/Emboss with Spellbinders Classic Scalloped Ovals Large. Mount Lattice Pendant onto card followed by ribbon tied in a bow and finally, Scalloped Oval.
