Supplies you will need:

1) Cut 2 pieces of Harlequin Grungeboard to measure 6" x 4 5/8".

2) Cut paper to measure 6" high and then tear the right edge at 4 ". For this book I've prepared 50 sheets but you could make it thicker and then just use a larger wire.

3) Punch grungeboard cover and inside sheets along the left side using the Bind-it-all machine.

4) Paint covers with metallic bronze Lumiere.

5) Remove 2 flourishes from Elements pack of Grungeboard and paint black with Neopaque.

6) With images from

  • I write you letters design elements,
  • mini images collection,
  • life journey words,
  • six gentle words set, and
  • inscribed hand

stamp the bottom right corner of every inside page using sepia ink. To keep the images and words light, stamp each one on scrap paper once and then onto book page.

7) Stamp life is not measured on white cardstock with black ink, trim, layer onto copper cardstock and then onto glossy black cardstock*.

8) Punch seven " circles from glossy black cardstock*.

9) Add layered saying, flourishes and circles to cover as shown using gel medium.

10) Bind book using bind-it-all.

* You get a much nicer, finished edge on the cut or punched glossy black cardstock if you color the edges with a black marker.
