Supply List:

Instructions

Click here for heart template. Heart should be approx 4"w x 3.75"h. Copy image (or print) and enlarge to desired size.

Trace onto the front of your card (centered on the right hand side of a 7"h x 10"w piece of cardstock) and cut out on solid lines only. (note: you'll be folding your card near the end)

OR if you have a Cricut, cut with that machine. PS, even though the basic Cricut is basically a 6 x 12 cutting mat size, a piece of cardstock 7" h x 10"w will still fit on it edge to edge on the 7" part.

Place your protective paper under the cut design and on top of your card, protecting your card from the sponging. Sponge on the Distress colors, blending and merging them and being careful not to damage your heart shape.

Rubber stamp the word "Love" with Versafine Crimson and clear emboss the whole heart.

Rubber stamp the birds above the heart with the Toffee and emboss with the gold.

Rubber stamp the quote in the lower right hand side with Crimson and clear emboss.

Rubber stamp the rose border or other generic thin border, similar to the placement on the card using the toffee and gold embossing. Try to get the borders placed in such a way as the other elements are seeming to pop out of the boundaries.

Score and fold your card in half.

Put some glue or double sided tape on the small center heart, and while holding everything together, close the card. The small heart should land in the right position that way... BIG GRIN.

PS the heart is big enough and with enough cuts that it will lay flat when opened.
