This is a gift set which includes the box, and ten cards with matching envelopes.

Instructions

After removing the hardware and sanding the 5 ½” square box, I applied a base coat of Golden White Gesso, then painted the inside of the box with Bright Gold Lumiere, and the outside with Metallic Copper Lumiere. After the box was dry, I glued a 3 1/2” piece of Momi Volcano paper to the outside centre, using Aleene’s Tacky Glue. Using the same glue, I adhered a length of gold braid in the channel of the centre panel, then glued a button over the ends of the braid. I stamped the sentiment on a piece of blue velvet paper with Brilliance Moonlight White ink, then glued the stamped piece to the inside lid, and added two small pearls as shown. |

I created each card 4 ¾” square, to fit inside the box, and created matching envelopes 5” square. All cards were created using Quietfire Design and miscellaneous stamps.
