Prior to being a mom I taught at an HBCU in Alabama and then another HBCU in Tennessee. I found scrapbooking about 6 months after my daughter was born. While watching the Carol Duvall Show, I saw Tim Holtz altering "something", I have been hooked ever since.

If my kids sat still long enough I would alter them. Oh, I almost forgot the children.

I am a SAHM to daughter Chinyere (Chin-yeah-rey) aka Chi-Chi, which means God's Gift, soon to be 5 years old - and twin sons Chinadu (Chi-na-doo) aka Mr. Du, which means God Leads Me, and Chidozie (Chi-doe-zee-eh) aka Ziggy, which means God's Blessing, 3 years old.

When not crafting or taking care of the kids you can find me in front of the TV watching English Football with my Husband Eji (Edge-eeee).

I live by the creed that "there are no mistakes in art, just opportunities to embellish". I was a member of the 2007 Ranger Design Team lead by Tim Holtz, Jen Starr and Robin Beam. I am presently a member of the 2008 Altered Arts Magazine Design Team. You can catch up with me on my blog at http://www.everythingaltered.com.
