Lettering with a pointed brush is a whole different experience to lettering with a broad-edged pen. First of all, that 45 degree pen angle is now 45 degrees in the other direction! Secondly, you can't "push" a brush as you do a pen.

The big perk in lettering with a pointed brush, is that you can make many sizes of letters with the same brush! Here is some lettering I did with the Pentel Color Brush - all with the same brush on the same piece of paper. The variety is unlimited!
