Instructions

Cut a piece of watercolour paper to 4x4" .

Brushless Watercolour Technique

  1. Turn Fiddlehead stamp upright and cover the whole image with Wild Honey, then using a small corner of your stamp pads, dab a few parts of the image with some Rusty Hinge and Barn Red.
  2. Mist the stamp surface with water until you see droplets forming on the surface of the stamp.
  3. Now flip your stamp over and stamp onto the watercolour paper then immediately lift the stamp off the paper.
  4. Repeat around the edges of the paper as shown above.
  5. Dry with a heat tool.

  1. Sponge around the edge of the card with more Wild Honey and Barn Door. Add a bit of Walnut Stain at the very edges.
  2. Stamp Music using Antique Linen across the background.
  3. Stamp the sentiment with Archival Jet Black Ink.

You can read more about the Brushless Watercolor technique on Tim Holtz's blog.
